SIOUX FALLS -- University of Sioux Falls Tennis Coach Kevin Grebin has announced the signings of three standout student-athletes who will enroll and play tennis for the Cougars in 2016-17.

Kelsie Sanders of Gillette, Wyo.; Chloe Jefferies of West Des Moines, Iowa; and Tiffany Voss of Derby, Kan., signed during the NCAA early signing period and will continue their academic and athletic careers at Sioux Falls. 

“It is exciting to have three talented student-athletes join our USF Women's Tennis Team,” said Cougars head coach Kevin Grebin. “They are all great competitors with great determination who have excelled at a high level and will be great additions to USF,” he said.

Sanders (pictured left), who starred for Campbell County H.S. in Gillette, Wyo., has put together a 63-11 career mark in singles. Playing at #1 singles in 2015, she compiled a 13-8 record and advanced to the semifinals of the Wyoming State High School Tournament. Sanders, who has 50 wins in doubles competition, was a state champions in doubles in 2014. A three-time all-conference champion, she was also a three-time all-state champion and received the “Best Hustle Award.”

Jefferies (pictured right) has had a standout career at Valley West High School in West Des Moines, Iowa. She compiled a 50-0 mark at #1 singles and also 50-0 record in #1 doubles in the past two seasons of high school competition. A three-time state champion, she was a mixed doubles state champ.

Voss (pictured left) helped lead Derby (Kan.) High School to second place in the regional by placing fifth in singles and sixth in doubles. A qualifier for the state meet in singles and doubles, she also placed fifth in the league in doubles. At Derby H.S., she is an Honors Scholar, Kansas Honors Scholar, National Honors Society member and part of the National Society of High School Scholars.

The USF Tennis Team, which opens the spring season against North Dakota on Feb. 5 in Sioux Falls, had a 9-8 overall record, including 7-4 in the NSIC in 2015. The record was USF's best in three years at NCAA DII and in the NSIC.
