Women’s Soccer Loses Heart-Breaker to Hastings College in GPAC Playoffs

Sioux Falls, SD - The University of Sioux Falls women’s soccer team lost to fourth seed Hastings College (13-3-3) by a score of 1-0 in overtime in Hastings, Neb. USF (10-8-1 overall), who had the fifth seed, was held to only four shots in the 98 minutes of play.Hasting’s Jessica Carlson netted the winning goal on a long cross over pass that was knocked in on a header.
The loss ends a USF season that resulted in a school-record 10 wins and a second consecutive playoff appearance, the second overall GPAC playoff showing in school history.
