Sioux Falls, SD - The revised 2010 University of Sioux Falls volleyball schedule has been posted on www.usfcougars.com . The schedule has been altered to address the closing of conference school Dana College.

This year’s schedule opens at the Second Annual Niagara Falls Splash in Buffalo, New York. The Cougars will play four teams from across the country during the August 20-21 tournament.

USF will host their own tournament September 3rd and 4th that features 14 schools from across the region. The Cougars will also travel to Moorhead, Minn. to compete in the Tharaldson Hospitality Classic, which features matches against NCAA Division II Minnesota State-Moorhead and Bemidji State. The Cougars will wrap up their non-conference action at the Bruin Premier Classic in Bellevue, Neb.

Great Plains Athletic Conference members Northwestern College (Iowa), Morningside College and Doane College represented the conference in the final 2009 NAIA polls. USF will have the fortune to host Northwestern and Doane at home this season, but will make the trip to Sioux City, Iowa to play at Morningside.

USF posted a 19-19 record and advanced to the second round of the GPAC tournament in 2009 with a fairly young crew. All of last year’s starters return and with several talented additions to the roster, USF has high hopes for the 2010 season.
