2011: Started every game, recording seven or more tackles in five of nine games last season... first team All-Dakota Transition selection... posted a season-high 10 stops to lead the Cougar defense at Minot State (9/24)... joined the century club and now has 143 career tackles... had a monster game in USF's valiant effort at FCS D-1 McNeese State (9/17), where he filled the stat sheet recording nine tackles, four for a loss (17yds), two sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass break up... ranked first in forced fumbles and tackles for a loss with 12 tackles for a loss (39yds) and three forced fumbles... Bonte's 56 tackles last season ranked third.

2010: In his first year as a starter, Bonte earned Second Team All-Great Plains Athletic Conference recognition...he finished fourth on the team with 48 total tackles, including eight for a loss, with two sacks, two interceptions, three pass deflections, two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and one pass break-up...recorded his two sacks of the season in back-to-back games, the first in a 66-21 win over Briar Cliff followed by sack that resulted in a six yard loss against then-No. 4 Morningside College...also had a season-high three tackles for a loss in the 28-3 win over the Mustangs...recorded a season-high seven tackles in a 66-13 win over Doane College. Wore number 40 last year before changing to 5 for the 2010 season.

2009: Played in 14 games as a freshman...had 23.5 tackles, five for a loss, 2.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.

High School: Named All-State... Argus Leader Elite 45 Honorable Mention... State Class B Wrestling Champion...also played baseball.

Personal: Has two brothers, Dan and Brady... Business Administration and Accounting double major
