2012 (JUNIOR): One of the longest tenured Cougars on the roster and the definition of versatile…will begin his senior campaign with 116 career starts: 1 at first base, 18 at second base and 97 at short stop...recorded seven multi-hit games in 2012, including a 3-for-5 effort against Briar Cliff on 4/10… ended the year with a .275 batting average…will open the 2012-13 season riding a 10-game hitting streak.

2011(SOPHOMORE): Tallied a slash of .271/.333/.352 in 38 games (36 starts) serving as the Cougars' primary second baseman...knocked in 11 RBI and also drew 11 walks, .926 fielding percentage…1-for-3 in 4-1 win at Saint Mary (3/6)…scored a run in 7-2 victory over McPherson College (3/12)…tallied two runs and a pair of singles in 8-4 victory over McPherson (3/13)…scored a run and drew two walks in 6-2 victory at Cal State-San Marcos (3/19)…2-for-4 outing in Cougars’ comeback win against Cal State-San Marcos (3/23)…RBI single with two runs scored in 15-13 victory against Morningside (4/2)…2 RBI base knock in 6-0 shutout of Briar Cliff (4/3)…1-for-3 with an RBI in 2-1 nightcap victory over Briar Cliff (4/3)..2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored in 10-5 loss to Hastings (4/10)…1-for-2 with a run scored in 7-6 come-from-behind win against Midland (4/12)…3-for-5 with a two run double in Cougars’ 14-13 loss to Hastings in GPAC elimination game. 

2010 (FRESHMAN): made 46 starts as a true freshman, hit .354 (46-for-130) with seven doubles, one homer and 29 RBI…11-for-13 on stolen base attempts. 

HIGH SCHOOL: team captain for the Grizzlies...named to the All-Avocado league second team and Union Tribune (honorable mention) squads...maintained a 3.5 or higher GPA. 

PERSONAL: Son of Philip and Terese Ireland...has one younger brother, Quinn (18)...sports management major…nickname is “The Duck.”
