2011 (JUNIOR): Started every game for the Cougars while splitting time
between catcher and short stop...batted .331 (48-for-145) with five doubles and
26 RBI... garnered honorable mention GPAC accolades.
2010 (SOPHOMORE) (San Diego City College): Named to the All-Pacific Coast Athletic
Conference Baseball first team as a catcher…also tabbed team MVP
and offensive player of the year.
2009 (FRESHMAN): Played in every game as a
true freshman (39 starts), hitting .308 (36-for-117) with seven doubles and 13 RBI…committed
only four errors in 236 chances for a .983 fielding percentage…caught 15
-would be base stealers.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball for the Ramona High Rams, collecting Team MVP,
Defensive Player of the Year, All-League and All-CIP team honors.
PERSONAL: Son of Becky Arntz and
Sergio Vasquez...has three siblings, Katie
(19), Ian (11) and Jada (10)...sports
