2013 (JUNIOR): Played in 36 games, making 35 starts (all at catcher)…compiled a .988 fielding percentage in his third year as a Cougar…gunned down 12 of 32 runners on stolen base attempts...saw his numbers at the plate increase to .221/.291/.260…had his best offensive series of the year in a four-game series against Minot State, where he went 8 for 15 with 4 RBI while also scoring five runs…had a season-best 3-for-4 day at the plate versus the MSU Beavers on 4/21, notching an RBI and scoring two runs…had a five-game hitting streak.
2012 (SOPHOMORE): A staple behind the plate last year, Dwyer provided defensive security in his second year as a Cougar…started every game behind the dish and compiled a .978 fielding percentage, recording 34 assists and just five errors in 193 chances…gunned down 21 of 60 runners on stolen base attempts…struggled to a .179/.274/.189 finish at the plate…tallied four multi-hit games…ended the season on a high note, going 2-for-2 with two walks at NCAA D-I South Dakota State.
2011(FRESHMAN): started 30 games primarily behind the plate, hitting .318 with 13 RBI; .995 fielding percentage…made first collegiate start behind the dish in 4-1 at Saint Mary (3/6), going 1-for-3 with a single…was 1-for-2 with two walks and three runs scored in 10-3 win at McPherson college (3/12)…tallied two singles, a walk and first career stolen base in 3-2 victory over Mount Marty (3/30)…had a pair of singles in 6-0 win versus Briar Cliff (4/3)...also 1-for-1 with a walk in 2-1 nightcap win against Briar Cliff (4/3)…1-for-3 with first career RBI in 10-5 loss to Hastings (4/10)…1-for-1 with 2 RBI double and two walks in Cougars’ 9-4 nightcap win versus Hastings (4/10)…key RBI single in 7-6 comeback win versus Midland (4/12)…batted leadoff in 8-5 win at Bellevue, going 2-for-3 with two walks…2-for-3 with one RBI in 5-3 victory over Dordt (4/27)…RBI knock in 6-0 victory over Northwestern (4/28)…2-for-4 in 13-8 victory at Dakota Wesleyan (4/30)…1-for-1 with two RBI and a walk in 5-2 win over Northwestern in GPAC tournament (5/5)…1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk (HBP) in 5-4 win against Doane at GPAC tournament (5/5).
HIGH SCHOOL: played baseball for Ralston Valley High School...the Mustangs were 5A State Runners-Up (2010) and 4A State Champions (2008)...named 5A all-conference honorable mention...was a high school leader for outdoor education lab school.
