2012-2013 (FRESHMAN): Indoor- Broke the school record in both the long and triple jump…season bests in the long jump of 19-7 (5.97m) and in the triple jump of 40-7.5 (12.38m) which both came at the NSIC Championships…earned NSIC All-Conference honors in the long and triple jump by winning both events…qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the long and triple Jump, earning All-American status in the long jump with her fifth place finish…Outdoor- set school records in the 100m dash (12.25), long jump (19-6.75/5.96m), and triple jump (40-6/12.34m)…claimed NSIC Championship in the long jump…qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the long and triple jump. 

High School: Prepped at Pacifica HS (Calif.)...Participated in Volleyball and Track & Field...Best New Athlete award...Coaches Award...Best Field Event winner...3-time Ventura Country Champion in triple jump...holds four school records-long jump, triple jump, high jump, and 4x100 relay.

Personal: Daughter of Doris Hackett and Gred Black...born May 31, 1994...has one younger sister and one older brother...Jazzelena aspires to be an obstetric nurse then later become an obstetrician.
