HIGH SCHOOL: Prolific athlete for Marshall High School who led the Tigers to a pair of Southwest Conference titles and the 2011 Minnesota State Championship…named to the Minnesota all-state team as both a junior and a senior…three-time all conference honoree…twice named the Player of the Game…also enjoyed a successful cager career, racking up three all-tournament team nods and one Player of the Game honor…also ran track. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Scott and Brenda Baker…the oldest of five siblings; Stephanie (16), Jacob (15), Rebecca (13) and Josh (10)…high school activities included FCA, peer helping, Student Rotarian, student council and ambassadors…played club volleyball for the Southwest Minnesota Junior 18s…participates with Meals on Wheels and Backpacks for Kids…elementary education major…goal is to have a job that she loves…favorite athlete is Michael Jordan…enjoys hanging out with friends and family when not playing volleyball…dislikes feet.

Why Jessica chose USF: “USF is a school that’s not too far away, but not too close. I liked the coaches and girls that I met. I also liked the size of the town.”
