Men's Golf in 10th After 1st Round at Tartan Park
Through one round of play at the Concordia University Invitational, the USF men's golf team is in 10th place with a score of 312 (+24) at the Tartan Park GC in Lake Elmo, Minn.
Nebraska-Omaha is leading the 12-team field with a score of 297 (+9) while NSIC foe Minnesota State, Mankato is in second place with 299.
Freshman Nick Gottsleben led the way for the Cougars on Sunday with a 74 (+2) to sit in a tie for sixth. Senior Levi Smith was consistent for the Cougars, firing a four-over 78 to finish tied for 29th. Freshman Andrew Nelson is currently tied for 36th with a score of 79 (+7). Senior Jordan Mueller carded an 81 (+9) and freshman Jon Van't Hul recorded an 84 to round out the Cougar lineup.
USF will wrap up the Concordia Invitational tomorrow with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
