One of the Cougars’ most disruptive defensive linemen…played in all 11 games and started the last five when Devin Flesher went down with a season-ending injury…versatile and athletic enough to play at defensive tackle and outside at defensive end…led the team with 5.0 sacks which ranked him 12th in the NSIC (142nd nationally)…tied for the team lead with 9.0 tackles-for-a-loss totaling a team-best 39 yards…his 37 tackles included 23 solo stops…will look to hold down his starting job on the defensive line while contending for All-NSIC honors.

FRESHMAN (2013): A true freshman who made an immediate impact on the USF defensive line…played in all 11 games with five starts…did not record any statistics in his debut in a Cougar uniform at UMD…finished with three total tackles against Northern State…registered the first sack of his career (-1) and a career-best six tackles, including two TFL for four yards, in the loss at U-Mary…made two solo tackles with one TFL (-11) and sacked Crookston quarterback Kyle Larson for a loss of 11 yards…helped limit the Golden Eagles to 211 total yards and 118 yards rushing…added four tackles (0.5 TFL) versus SMSU…logged three solo tackles—including one TFL for eight yards— and recorded a sack for a loss of eight yards in the loss to Winona State…made his first career start at Concordia-St. Paul and totaled three tackles (0.5 TFL for one yard)…went on to start the final four games of the season…finished with four tackles and a quarterback hurry versus rival Augustana…recorded four tackles at Upper Iowa…disrupted No. 1 Minnesota State to the tune of five tackles with two-and-a-half stops for a combined loss of 12 yards and hauled down Maverick senior signal-caller Jon Wolf twice (11 yards) for his team-leading fourth and fifth sacks of the season…recorded a tackle for loss of two yards and totaled three tackles at Wayne State.
