2014-15: Named second team-All-NSIC, earning honors for second straight season…led team with 17 (477) points, 5.4 (151) rebounds, and 2.5 (70) assists per game… knocked down team-high 155-of-375 field goals for 41.3 percent… ranked second on team hitting 39-of-114 three pointers for 34.2 percent… made team-high 128-of-170 free throws for 75.3 percent… tied for team-lead with 26 steals… scored double digits in 25 games… put up 20 or more points in nine games… scored career-high 28 points vs. Upper Iowa on Jan. 10, 2015… had career-high six assists vs. Mount Marty on Dec. 16, 2015... tallied three double-doubles.
2013-14: A transfer from Western Nebraska Community College, Ward had an impact in his first team with the Cougars. He led USF to a 15-12 record, including 12-10 in league play after averaging a team-high 13.6 points per game (18th in the league) while averaging 5.1 rebounds. Ward, who had 17 double figure scoring games, scored 20 or more points six times. A senior criminal justice major, Ward had a high of 28 points in a 103-101 loss to Minnesota State-Mankato on February 21, 2014. In his final 17 games of the season, Ward, who had a double double against St. Cloud State (15 points, 12 rebounds) on Jan. 11, 2014, averaged 15.11 ppt with 12 double digit point games. In addition, he grabbed at least five rebounds 15 times and had a season-best five three-pointers in six attempts against Wayne State on Dec.6, 2013. Ward, who volunteers for Make-A-Wish, has a brother, who is a guard on the Texas-San Antonio squad.
2011-12: Played one season at Western Nebraska Community College…averaged 20.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game in 31 appearances last season for the Cougars…scored 20 points or more 15 times, and 30-plus on three occasions including two 37-point performances (career-high)…posted double-figure scoring in all but three games…third team All-Region IX selection…shot 48 percent from the field, 38 percent from 3-point range and 74 percent from the stripe…ranked 15th in the nation for scoring, fourth in Region IX.
HIGH SCHOOL: Back-to-Back Player of the Year for the Arcadia Titans...averaged 23.5 points per game...all-state and All-East Sky Region honoree...broke Arcadia's scoring record.
