65 USF Student-Athletes Named NSIC All-Academic
A total of 65 University of Sioux Falls student-athletes have been named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll for their strong performances in the classroom, the league offices in Burnsville, Minn., announced Wednesday.
The 65 honorees ties USF with Minnesota State University, Mankato for the most Academic Honor Roll selections in the sixteen-team NSIC.
The Cougars boasted 25 all-academic selections in women’s track & field, 16 in men’s track & field, seven in softball, six in both baseball and women’s tennis and five in women’s golf.
Top honors go to ninth-year head coach Kevin Grebin and the women’s tennis team, which saw 100% of its eligible student-athletes earn all-academic recognition.
To be eligible for this honor, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better.
