Third Round of Women's NSIC Golf Championship Cancelled

The third round of the NSIC Women's Golf Championship has been cancelled due to tornado warnings in the area. The University of Sioux Falls enters the fourth and final round of the Championship seventh in the team standings with a two-round total of 695.

Behind three scorers ranked 1-2-3 on the individual leaderboard, Augustana (613) controls a 40 stroke lead over Minnesota State (653) in second and are 46 ahead of Concordia (659) who remains in 3rd.

Kali Gottsleben and Tavia Rutherford account for USF players in the top 20. Gottsleben (83-83=163) is tied for 11th and Rutherford (85-82=167) sits tied for 16th.

Kelsey Leif (94-90=184) claims the Cougars' third lowest scores through two rounds. She is knotted up at 40th overall. Jordan Wilkinson (94-93=187) and Tia Nihart (105-87=192) represent USF's four and five spots. Wilkinson enters the final round in 46th place, while Nihart is in 50th.

The final round of 18 holes will go on as schedule with 9:00 a.m. tee times on Sunday morning.
