Athlete of the Week May 13

The University of Sioux Falls men's and women's track and field teams ended the 2012 season late Friday night at the Concordia Twilight Meet in Seward, Neb.

The Cougars came away with two individual titles and a host of top-five finishes versus a field that consisted of NAIA, NCAA D-II and NCAA D-I opponents.

Leading the way was junior Danielle Moyer, who took top honors in the women's 100 meter dash. She recorded a time of 12.39 to win the event. This was Moyer's second consecutive first place finish in the 100m event.  With a strong showing at the Sioux Falls Relays, Moyer sprinted 100m in 12.33 s to claim medal.

The Concordia Twilight marked the conclusion of the 2011-12 athletic season.
