After an undefeated 8-0 start to the season, the University of Sioux Falls baseball team send their tournament this weekend 1-2, picking up their second win over Great Plains Athletic Conference foe Northwestern College (Iowa), but dropping games to Graceland University and GPAC rival Doane College. |

USF Baseball Off to a School Record 8-0 Start The University of Sioux Falls bettered the school’s best-ever start to a season today with a 7-6 win over Graceland University (0-7 overall) at a tournament in Joplin, Mo. The win gave USF a 7-0 record for the season, a new school record, and would later improve their win total for the season to 8-0 with a 17-8 victory over GPAC rival Northwestern College (Iowa). |

2010 Baseball Schedule Outlook The USF baseball team is coming into the 2010 season with high hopes coming off of an 18-23 season under 3rd year coach Matt Guiliano. USF finished 13-11 in the GPAC last year, earning the 8th seed in the conference tournament. They upset No. 1 seed Nebraska Wesleyan by a score of 9-2 in the opening round but were defeated by Mount Marty (4-2) and Briar Cliff (6-1) to end their season. |
