USF Places Nine on College Fanz’s All-Decade Team


Trevor Holleman is one of four Cougars named to College Fanz's all-decade team.

Sioux Falls, SD - Eight University of Sioux Falls football players were named to the College Fanz’s all-decade team, as announced by the network’s Jason Dannelly Tuesday.


Earning first team recognition is receiver Dusty Hovorka (2003-2006), defensive tackle Darin Martyna (1998-2002), defensive back Trevor Holleman (2006-2009) and defensive back Leo Fenceroy (1999-2002). Quarterback Chad Cavender (2006-2007), the 2007 NAIA player of the Year, received “offensive at large” recognition for the first team.


Named to the second team is running back Nick Kortan (1999-2002), offensive lineman T.J. Wendt (2006-2009), kicker T.C. Fraser (2002-2004) and quarterback Lorenzo Brown (2008-2009) received a spot as an athlete. Brown was named the 2009 NAIA Player of the Year.


During the ten seasons from 2000 to 2009 the Cougars posted a 120-12 record that included three national titles, eight GPAC titles and three NAIA player of the year selections.
