The University of Sioux Falls is proud to announce 15 student-athletes as part of the 2010 recruiting class. The Cougars expect to add more players to the class over the coming weeks. Eight high school signees and seven college transfers make up the initial USF football recruiting class.
The University of Sioux Falls football team will enter the 2009 season at the top of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) polls. The Cougars return 18 starters from last season prepared to defend their Great Plain Athletics Conference (GPAC) crown and NAIA national title.
The first University of Sioux Falls “Cougar Luncheon” will be held on August 11th at the Ivy Room located at 2425 S. Shirley Avenue, Suite 118 in Sioux Falls, S.D. The event is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. and will conclude around 1:00 p.m. Ruby Tuesday’s garden bar, mini-cheeseburgers, fries and drinks will be available at a reduced rate.
The University of Sioux Falls football team is the preseason favorite for the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) football crown, as voted by the 12 conference coaches at the 10th annual GPAC media days held in Sioux City, Iowa.
July 16th-- The University of Sioux Falls football media day will be held at USF Sanford Health Sports Complex on Tuesday, August 25th. Coaches and players will be available for interviews beginning at 3:00 p.m.
