Fighting rainy and windy conditions all day, the University of Sioux Falls men’s golf team persevered and ended up with the second best team score (328) at the second and final GPAC qualifying event of the fall, held Tuesday afternoon at Pioneers Golf Course in Lincoln, Neb.

The University of Sioux Falls men’s golf program sent two teams to the Briar Cliff Invite held in Sioux City, Iowa. The White team finished tied for third at 305 strokes, while the Purple team was not too far behind in fifth place at 310 strokes.

The University of Sioux Falls mens golf team placed seventh at the first of four Great Plains Athletic Conference tournaments. The tournament was held at Landsmeer Golf Course in Orange City, Iowa under great conditions.

University of Sioux Falls golfer Lucas Dowden (Freeman, S.D.) is the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) golfer-of-the-week.

The University of Sioux Falls men’s golf team totaled 300 strokes to finished second today at the Dordt Invite played at The Ridge Golf Course (Par 71/7038 yards) in Sioux Center, Iowa. USF finished six strokes back of Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) rival Dakota Wesleyan University (294).

The University of Sioux Falls men’s golf finished runner-up at the Beuna Vista Tournament held at Lake Creek Country Club (Par 72/6,708 yards) in Storm Lake, Iowa. The Cougars finished one stroke behind Great Plains Athletic Conference opponent Dakota Wesleyan University (307).

Oct. 11 — In the fall season finale, the USF men’s golf team traveled to Le Mars, Iowa, to compete in the Dordt College Invitational, and came away with a solid third-place overall finish, a total score of 301.
