Sioux Falls, SD - The University of Sioux Falls track and field and cross country programs continue to move forward with the signing of 42 great recruits for the 2009-10 year following one of the best years in USF track and field history.

Last year was the starting point and foundation of even greater things to come. The recruits that will come to campus this fall enjoyed some terrific performances during their high school careers and many others possess the potential to unleash big things in college .

“The result of adding this recruiting class to the already awesome group of returners is going to be a team that will, I believe, surprise a lot of people with what they will be able to accomplish,” said Gene Brooks, USF head track and field and cross country coach. “In addition to the athletic talent I couldn’t be happier about the quality of the people joining us and how they will contribute to an amazing team community. I am very excited for next year and can’t wait to see what unfolds.”

The class features nine state champions and 12 state runners up.
