The University of Sioux Falls is pleased to announce the promotion of Jenny Schneider to Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach. Schneider served as the Assistant Head Coach of the Cougar men’s and women’s golf teams during the 2010 spring golf season.
5/14/10 W. Golf - Three Cougars Named GPAC Women’s Golf All-Conference
Sophomore Sarah Gilbert (Papillion, Neb.), freshman Keni Nelson (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and junior Allison Zeller (Ottumwa, Iowa) have been named to the Great Plains Athletic Conference All-Conference team, released Friday afternoon by the conference office.
5/6/10 W. Golf - Women’s Golf Wins GPAC Qualifier No. 4; Finishes Second in Conference
The University of Sioux Falls women’s golf team had four golfers finish in the top 11 spots at today Great Plains Athletic Conference fourth and final qualifier held at Two Rivers Golf Course (PAR 70/6,000 YARDS) in Dakota Dunes, S.D. The win marks the seventh tournament victory of the season and the Cougars finished either first or second in every competition this season.
4/28/10 W. Golf - USF Women’s Golf Wins Sixth Tournament of the Season
The University of Sioux Falls Women’s Golf placed first as a team in the USF Women’s Spring Invite held today at Elmwood Golf Course (PAR 72/5908 Yards) in Sioux Falls. The players had to battle gusts in upwards of 40 miles per hour the entire day.
4/21/10 W. Golf - USF Women’s Golf Runner-Up at Northwestern Invite
Playing in their second tournament in two days, the University of Sioux Falls women’s golf team finished runner-up at the Northwestern Lady Raider Spring Tournament held in Orange City, Iowa. The Cougars had a team score of 333 on the PAR 72/5,897 course, 15 strokes behind winner Dakota Wesleyan University.
4/19/10 W. Golf - USF Women Take Individual and Team Medalist at NWU Invite
Junior Allison Zeller and sophomore Sarah Gilbert tied for medalist honors, leading the University of Sioux Falls to the win at the Nebraska Wesleyan Spring Invite in Lincoln, Neb. today. USF shot 334 for the first round yesterday and extended their lead with a second round of 321.
4/10/10 W. Golf - USF Women’s Golf Hold Steady at Third GPAC Qualifier
The University of Sioux Falls women’s golf team held steady in second place in the Great Plains Athletic Conference standings after the third qualifier was complete in Blair, Neb. today. USF shot 338 as a team on the PAR 72/5,905 yard course and sit 33 strokes behind leader Dakota Wesleyan University.
3/31/10 M. Golf - USF Hires Jenny Schneider as Assistant Head Golf Coach
The University of Sioux Falls is proud to announce the hiring of Jenny Schneider as the assistant head golf coach. Schneider will aid in the recruitment efforts, practice organization, fundraising and all other aspects that will continue the advancement of the USF men’s and women’s golf program.
3/3/10 W. Golf - USF Women’s Golf Receiving Votes in Initial NAIA Spring Polls
The University of Sioux Falls women’s golf team is receiving 38 votes in the first NAIA poll of the spring season. USF’s votes place them 29th overall in the country, a few positions behind GPAC rival No. 22 Dakota Wesleyan University.
