High School
Hawf was a multi-sport athlete at West Lyon, competing in football, baseball, basketball, and track & field. Academically, he was a member of the National Honor Society and consistently earned A-Honor Roll. On the football field, he was a two-time first team All-District running back, second team All-State running back, and first team All-State offensive utility player. He helped lead his team to the 2024 Class 2A State Football Championship. In baseball, he was a four-time All-Conference and All-District outfielder, two-time All-State outfielder, and helped his team reach the 2023 state semifinals. In track & field, he qualified for state 11 times. During his high school football career, Hawf rushed for 2,794 yards and scored 41 touchdowns, adding 35.5 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 2 interceptions on defense.

Tate is the son of Bubba and Cassidy Hawf. He has two siblings, Reegan and Jersey.
